Fees for the 2024 season have remained largely unchanged. These are split in the following ways.
Youth Players are defined as those still at school. Student membership rates are available for those in full time courses but who have left school.
Details of the various types of membership tiers are in the drop down boxes to the right. As ever if any questions at all, please contact the Club Treasurer, we offer a variety of methods to pay fees such as splitting costs over 12 months. We never want to exclude any one from playing cricket and treat such enquiries in the strictest confidence.

To save further costs this season, instead of offering options on this site to purchase membership, please complete the form in the box at the top and you'll receive an invoice from our FreeAgent accounting software. This will contain banking details and a Stripe payment link.
Senior Membership (those out of full time education and employed) is for those wishing to play League cricket in the CDCA & GCCL Saturday and Weekday Leagues as well as Sunday Cricket. League costs are high (eg we spend approx £1,000 a season on the required balls across our teams) and this is why it represents the highest fees.
For the 2024 season the following memberships are avaialble.

Qualified coaches who coach our youth teams and play in the Senior Teams are offered membership at £25
Students (left school and studying/unemployed) membership is £30
Membership for senior players who also volunteer on the ground is £25
Senior Women's Membership has been altered for the 2024 Season given the collapse of the CDCA women's league. This membership will cover all our senior women including the Softball Team which has very different cost structure to it than hard ball cricket. The team has also received sponsorship for equipment enabling us to pass through cost savings to the squad.
For the 2024 season the £40 cost of membership as agreed at the AGM is split as follows.
a £30 membership fee.
a £10 playing charge.
Membership for Girls & Boys for the u11s-u19s is more expensive than younger age groups as we enter hard-ball leagues and need to purchase balls and prepare wickets.
Our entire ethos as a club is to provide membership at affordable rates on the best facilities so that a lifelong love of cricket can be ignited. The cost of running a youth section is large from training level 2 coaches (£300) to Safeguarding Officers. We qualify for grants when we can and use other methods such as gift aid on donations and easyfundraising to supplement income. This enables us to keep membership fees as low as possible.
Youth Players selected for the 1st & 2nd XIs will have a £2 match fee which is for the cost of Ground Preparation. There is no such fee for playing in the 3rd XI.
For the 2024 season the £60 guideline membership for a single child as agreed at the AGM is split as follows.
a £20 playing charge
a £40 membership fee of the club
For the 2024 season the £90 fee for a Two or More Children in Under 11s and above as agreed at the AGM is split as follows.

If you have any combination of children in the u11s age group and above and also Under 7s or Under 9s, then the membership rates are:
a £30 playing charge
a £50 membership fee
Membership for Girls & Boys for the u7s & 9s is an entry level one and cheaper as a soft-ball membership.

If you have any combination of children in the u11s age group and above and also Under 7s or Under 9s, then the membership rates are:

a £50 membership charge.
We introduced these in the 2022 season to cap the cost for families where any combination of mothers/fathers and sons/daughters can play for the club
There are instances where it will be cheaper for some to purchase single memberships such as mothers playing for the ladies and having a single child in the youth teams. Please chose whichever option you prefer.
For the 2024 season the £150 guideline membership for a Family as agreed at the AGM is split as follows.
a £50 Playing charge which entitles you & your family to use of the clubs facilities and insurance under the club policy
a membership fee of £100.
